Since July 2020 I was granted a contracted workspace at On Track Physiotherapy in Cookville where I serve my clients on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. At the front desk you will always meet first our secretary, Rhonda who will welcome you when you arrive. You will be asked to remove your outdoor footwear at the door so please remember to wear socks or bring a pair of slippers along. You will then be called in to one of two possible treatment rooms and, if it is your first session, I will be asking you a lot of questions and filling in your health history form so that I get a good picture of your overall health and know how to best approach your session. Do bring a list of any medications or supplements you take. You will also be asked about past surgeries or injuries. Once we have the basics you will be asked to lie on the height adjustable table, fully clothed, and I will wipe your feet (or hands) with a natural, alcohol free, witch hazel solution and perform some range of motion exercises of your feet and ankles (or hands and wrists). Now we are ready to assess your reflexes. Reflex areas that need extra attention are likely to be sensitive and I will request feedback from you as I work along. Most clients like to be informed about which reflexes I find sensitive and our sessions tend to be busy with conversation about the sensitive reflexes and how they relate to one another, however if you prefer to just relax and have me explain it at the end please let me know at the beginning of the session. I do use a natural cream that I make with all natural ingredients (cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil, almond oil, beeswax and lavender) to moisturize the feet and help my fingers to glide easily over the feet (or hands). If you have an allergy to any of the ingredients please let me know. I always keep plain coconut oil on hand for anyone with allergies. The moisturizer is available for purchase at the front desk. After the session Rhonda will receive your payment and issue your receipt. Unfortunately direct billing for reflexology is not available.
